ARGAN TREE ENDEMIC TO
MOROCCO :
Argan Oil is a longtime favorite of Moroccans and will
be loved by those who discover it, a miracle among
organic products. Argan oil is a natural rich,
noutrishing and moisturising skin food which gives you
a beautiful, balanced and relaxed skin. It contains no
artificial colouring, perfumes or preservatives to
irritate the skin.
Argan oil comes from the nuts of the Argan tree
(Argania spinosa). The argan tree produces nuts from
which is extracted a very nutritious oil. Argan oil is
a deep golden oil, often with a reddish tinge. It is
lighter in weight than nut oils and olive oils, having
a weight and body similar to seed oils like sesame or
pumpkin, darker than olive oil and with a nutty
flavor.
The production of this oil is a demanding and
laborious process which was completely realized by
hand until recently mechanical presses have been
introduced. Neither solvant nor heat is used for this
oil extraction. This oil is a cold first pressed oil
which means a high nutritive quality. |
